Apex Sport/Apex Technology Logos | Hockey Stick Design
Xiamen APEX Sports Technology Co., Ltd. is one of the top leading manufacturers in Xiamen Fujian China with developing and producing high end composite products. Products range from ice hockey sticks, golf clubs, bicycle rims, medical and aviation components. I had the opportunity to design the APEX Sport and Pro Technology logo to be used on their composite hockey stick line as well as create hockey stick graphics for the Pro Technology line. The challenge was to create a logo which would remain legible on a long horizontal surface and communicate the speed, toughness and aggressive nature of the sport. The resulting logos capture all these characteristics in a fine balance. ©Kim Collins
